World Showcase

We are looking to make House Name Heritage (.com) truly international in the field of House Name recognition and preservation.

To this end we aim to build up records of new and existing house names from around the world. If you are aware of any or come across any on your travels we’d be delighted if you would Contact Us with names, their meanings if known, the background to their use if known including any geographical or historical reasons for their use. Photos are useful but not essential. Also please supply your own contact details.

To date, many of the entries in our world showcase come courtesy of Graham Gould in his book ‘House Names of Australia’, which is well worth a look. Graham is an expert on House Names and his website www.grahamgould.com gives details of this book, house name information in general, and details of Graham’s own unique house nameplates.
